Sr. Carol Jean Value, SSJ, Ph.D. has been president of Chestnut Hill College for over 25 years. She was unanimously reappointed for her sixth 5-year term, effective July 1, 2017. She has an A.B. in English from Chestnut Hill College, a M.A. in Theology/Spirituality from Fordham University and a Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Fordham University. She is a member of the following organizations:
