ASEC Program Coordinator

African Sisters Education Collaborative (ASEC) is a 501(c)3 organization based at Marywood University in Scranton, PA, that operates in ten countries in Africa, Through its mission, ASEC educates Catholic women religious in Africa to strengthen their leadership capacity and provide services that address local and global challenges.

The Program Coordinator will provide support in the delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of ASEC programs. The Program Coordinator, Programs reports to the Senior Program Manager, Programs, has responsibility points with the Senior Program Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation, and works in close collaboration with the Finance Manager. This is a grant-funded position that requires 35 hours per week with ASEC at Marywood University.

The main duties include but not limited to:

  • Support the recruitment, enrollment, and monitoring of students in ASEC programs, including data entry and correspondence
  • Support data input and management for ASEC programs, including demographic data, qualitative and quantitative survey data, interview transcripts, tracking of survey forms, and basic statistical analyses for projects and reports
  • Support financial record keeping for program grant activities, including review of program account requisitions and invoices, tracking of invoices, and preparation of wire transfer paperwork
  • Provide routine administrative support, including monitoring of administrative email accounts

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (required) Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, data entry, record keeping, basic accounting, and related knowledge of international nonprofit organizations and grants management

Schedule

35 hours/week
