Sr. Margaret's training has helped her better manage a hospital

Sr. Margaret's training has helped her better manage a hospital

I've learned that budgeting is "the starting point of the financial management," and "is a valuable tool to control all the aspects of an institution."

In Kenya, Sr. Margaret Wangechi Mwaura LSOSF, participated in the financial track of SLDI training.  She says that the training has helped her manage the hospital better where she works.

She writes that she has learned that budgeting is, "the starting point of the financial management," and with the skill she follows the hospital budget to help the CEO to understand where the hospital stands financially, and what next steps should be taken to improve their working climate.  She says that they realize that the budget, "is a valuable tool to control all the aspects of an institution."

Her success in proposal writing has also brought in extra support for an ultrasound machine, washing machine, and an electrical baking oven.
