The ASEC board met for their annual meeting at the IHM Center, March 14, 2011. Sr. Jane Wakahiu OSF gave a presentation on her dissertation which analyzed the effectiveness of the Hilton Leadership program (SLDI). A committee was formed to search for a new executive director as Sr. Jacquelyn Ernster is leaving in July. Progress on the science lab at the Bigwa school, Tanzania, was reviewed and the Board agreed to sponsor an archives workshop in Kenya in 2012 at the request of the Kenyan Sisters organization.
